We are very pleased to partner with Cressey Sports Performance and offer our 7th, 8th & 9th grade families a strength & conditioning program.
Program summary:
Athletes will learn the fundamentals of weight training - emphasizing technique and learning how to perform exercises in a way that not only promotes results but also reduces injury risk. Athletes will also work on sprint mechanics, power training with medicine balls, and change-of-direction drills.
Program details:
8-Week Training Block
Sessions meet once-weekly, Sunday mornings
Beginning October 22nd and running through December 17th (Thanksgiving weekend would be a scheduled off-week)
12 Slots per group for 7th grade, 8th grade, and 9th grade athletes, first come, first served
Timing - 7th graders at 9:00am, 8th graders at 10:00am, 9th graders at 11:00am
This training service is designed for beginners in the weight room and sessions will run exactly one hour each week.
The cost for this service will be $160/athlete ($20/session), payable in advance of week one. Payments to be made directly to Cressey Sports Performance.
